Barbados Crop Over 2014, Grand Kadooment day or Carnival day, as some call it, is the last day of the Crop Over festival which is held on the first Monday of August each year.
This Barbados festival is a spectacle of colour, costumes and dancin! The bands parade in front of the National Stadium and continue all through the streets as they make their way to the Spring Garden Highway. Each band follows large trucks which are decked out with speakers and some with performer’s blaring music so loud you can feel it in your soul; a grand end to a grand festival.

Baje International
Baje International consists of 4 enterprising individuals who have promoted numerous successful entertainment events including 14 successful Crop Over bands. This year their band is entitled “Mega Monday”.

Betty West Band
Betty West has been designing costumes for the Barbados Crop Over festival for many years and she has earned the reputation as one of the top Crop Over Band Costume designers in Barbados, by consistently winning top awards at the annual Grand Kadooment and the Kiddies Kadooment. The Betty West Masquerade Band has established itself as a passionate tool of expression for culture and a forum to depict history and everyday affairs.

Blue Box Cart is hosted by Harbour Lights Night Club and is a true “party band”.

Power X Four
An award winning Crop Over Band, it has been the largest on the road every year since 1996, with over fifteen hundred revelers participating and most of the parties attracting in excess of seven hundred patrons.
