The resort’s restaurant is a full service bar, restaurant and lounge, set in lush and tranquil surroundings fanned by constant cooling breezes and is the perfect place to come and relax and sample a delightful dish or relax with a refreshing drink. This Barbados resort also boasts a 46-inch flat screen TV with cable connection, and a full-size swimming pool and deck with five South Beach style lounge chairs, so that you can enjoy your meal in a more formal dining area overlooking the pool and viewing wonderful sunsets or lounge with a cocktail; the choice is yours.

The on site restaurant offers a relaxed dining atmosphere, eclectic gourmet cuisine and the highest quality of service; one of Travelers Palm’s main goals has always been to make sure that guests are satisfied.

Opening hours: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Sunday. Although, in the slow season our operating hours may vary so we encourage you to check with reception on arrival.

SHOPPING

You can browse the various malls or chattel house village shops and you can be sure that there is Duty Free shopping everywhere. Whether you are looking for jewellery, clothes, cameras or just that perfect souvenir of your trip, you can find it in Sunset Crest. Want a wider variety? 15 minutes away, either by taxi or bus, you can travel south to the main shopping area of Bridgetown or, travel north to Speighstown where you will find a variety of shops to find exactly what you are looking to purchase.

Sunset Crest also has one of the largest supermarkets on the island where you can find just about everything to make a special dinner while on the island. With a wide variety of brands, you are sure to find what you would find at home in your local supermarket.

In addition, there is also a 24 hour convenience store in case you forgot to buy that all important Banks beer before you retire for the evening.

BEACHES

Beaches on the West coast are generally calm where you can enjoy bathing in the crystal clear Caribbean sea or relax on white sandy beaches.

GOLF

For the golf enthusiast, you can have a round of golf at the famous Sandy Lane Golf Club and Green Monkey Golf Course. If you are feeling adventurous, arrangements can also be made for you to play at the famous Royal Westmoreland Golf Course which is 10 minutes away from Sunset Crest.

TENNIS

There are lighted tennis courts in Sunset Crest, where you enjoy a game whether it be during the day or on those cooler tropical nights.

WATERSPORTS

There are many watersport operators on the beach just waiting to show you a good time. Have a yen for speed? Try Parasailing, high speed power boats, bananas or the ever popular jet-skis. Prices vary, so you can shop around! Just want to enjoy the mysteries of sea? Then snorkeling, scuba diving or a ride in a glass-bottom boat is just the ticket!

RESTAURANTS

Dining options are so diverse that you could probably eat somewhere different every night! From elegant dining to fastfood, it can all be found in Sunset Crest. In 1st and 2nd Street Holetown, there can be found, Italian, Chinese, Sushi and Gourmet restaurants. If you want to sample good Bajan cuisine and just immerse yourself in the culture and taste the local spirits, there are a number of local bars and pubs right in the area. For breakfast, lunch or dinner, it does not matter, there is a place for every meal of the day.

BANK FACILITIES

There is almost a branch of every major bank in Sunset Crest; Scotiabank, RBTT or Royal Bank.

TOURS

Tours of the island can be arranged at your convenience. Whether you enjoy a private tour with one of the local taxis, a bus tour to all the major places of interest or an island safari in the back of a jeep exploring the trails and natural landscape of the island; we can arrange whatever suits youre needs, simply ask our concierge!

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation in Sunset Crest is not a problem. There are bus stops on the main road which you can take public transport to any part of the island. You will find taxis easily as there are two taxi stands in the Sunset Crest area. If you would like to hire a car that too can be arranged, there is a fee of USD $5 for a temporary driver’s permit if you do not have an international driving license, which can be obtained in Speightstown or from the hired car company.
